Apple Thunderbolt Screen – Performance at RDV with a USB Flash Drive Port
January 27th, 2012The Apple Thunderbolt 27 inch Screen provides a very comfortable setting of 2560 x 1440 pixels: enough to display many windows. As a follower of a dual screen, I admit that this diagonal associated with the definition made me forget the utility.
This will depend on your settings and your calibration, but the Thunderbolt screen displays beautiful colours with good contrast, while offering a good level of detail.
Photo editing, video editing, movie watching – the Thunderbolt was found at home in all these areas. This means that the office did not pose any problem. The viewing angles also proved more than adequate. The shiny appearance of the floor poses no real problem, but the presence of an option to choose a matte finish would have been welcome. The presence of USB ports was welcome as it eases the use of a USB Flash Drive.
The Thunderbolt also has a 2.1 audio system. We regret that Apple does not consider it necessary to propose other sizes in this screen as the concept of a screen-dock is attractive; but 27 inches is far too big to purchase.
