A 2GB memory SD card can run around 30 dollars, and an 8GB memory card for your camera can go for over $100. So obviously the higher capacity memory cards are not going to be for everyone. The size of the memory card that you should get is going to completely rely on the size of pictures you are going to be taking. If you are going to be using an 8MP camera and using it to its full capacity, you might want to get at least a 2GB memory card. 8MP digital cameras are coming closer to being the average quality today. So do not forget that when you get a new digital camera, you are going to need a digital camera memory card to go with it.
